Where did you end up buying them?

Are they true to size?
I’d say they fit true to size, based on my pair.
They haven’t stretched much, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up
How comfy are they?
They felt good almost immediately. I wear no-show socks with them, especially since they help with airflow. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more easy than breaking in fake leather. Plus, they’re already distressed so your feet just get comfortable fast.
How do they perform over time?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. The laces are intact, and the structure feels strong. Thanks to the vintage look, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the shine on mine? Stunning.
Are they worth it?
Yes! Just try not to pay full price. They’re not cheap, so getting them discounted is a better idea. They’re worth the investment, especially if you find a style that suits you. I went bold with sparkle, but a minimalist version would also look great.
